Approach
Humanitarian and impact projects require credible sponsors, transparent budgets, clear delivery plans, appropriate governance and a demonstrable use of funds. GIGT can help organize the financing case and identify appropriate commercial or institutional pathways where available.
Typical documentation
- Project concept and objectives
- Sponsor / organization information
- Budget and use of funds
- Implementation timeline
- Beneficiary framework
- Governance and reporting plan
Finance with a transparent development purpose
Humanitarian and development-oriented projects require particular care because funding, procurement, delivery, beneficiaries and governance must remain transparent. Institutional counterparties may require clear budgets, implementation plans, accountability controls and evidence that resources are directed to the stated purpose.
GIGT supports the structuring and coordination of qualified humanitarian or development mandates while emphasizing documentation, governance and traceability. We do not replace the responsibilities of donors, public authorities, implementing organizations, banks, auditors or other regulated professionals.
We begin with the commercial objective, parties, value, timing and existing documents before recommending an execution path.
Where banking, legal, regulatory or specialist approval is required, the relevant institution retains its own independent decision-making responsibility.
What a credible development mandate should demonstrate
The purpose of a humanitarian or development project should be matched by an implementation model that can be reviewed objectively. That includes the beneficiary population, project scope, delivery partners, budget, procurement approach, timeline, governance and evidence of how funds will be monitored.
For larger programs, financing may need to be coordinated with contractors, suppliers, public authorities, donors or financial institutions. GIGT's role is to help organize these relationships and prepare the financial and documentary framework so responsibilities are visible from the beginning.
Define who owns the project, who implements it, who approves spending and how progress is reported.
Link budgets, contracts, invoices and disbursement milestones to the stated development purpose.
Execution principle
Humanitarian intent does not remove the need for commercial and compliance discipline. Transparent control is what protects the integrity of the project and the interests of the communities it is designed to serve.
